I Love To See The Temple

Buenísimos días todos

How is everything going?

Not too too much ended up happening this week/last week(whoops).

We ended up finally going to the Hermosa Pier in Manhattan Beach. Pretty neat, I'll leave some pictures there.

One of our friends I've talked about, Susana, has been doing great. Also, we won't be teaching her much anymore. Now it's for a good reason because she's outside of our zone. So, we've been working to get her with the Missionaries in her area and it's been an absolute joy seeing her excitement in ever lesson, it's going to be great for them and I'm so excited for her.

So, you may or may not be wondering at this point why my email is a day late? And also, a week late (but that's beside the point).

We got to go to the temple today!

(And thus, it's our P-day, for efficiency's sake)

It's absolutely a wonderful experience, but it was extra special to be at the Los Angeles temple, as it's one of the biggest and has an absolutely fantastic visitors center (which you should pay a visit sometime). So, it was even more special to be in such a storied temple, but honestly just the feeling of comfort I had getting ready to exit it was, it's impossible but the only way I can describe it is perfect. Perfect comfort.

I can't think of anywhere or anything that's provided that kind of comfort other than the temple. I haven't even gone yet a third time, and I still believe it to be the only thing on earth that has true peace and perfect comfort. I know it's only possible because it is the house of God.

I'd invite you all to turn to God for peace, in any time. Even on a sunny day you got to stop and smell the roses. And you especially need comfort after the storms of life. So please, turn to your Heavenly Father for peace.

Espero que todos de ustedes tendrán una magnífica semana!

Best,
Elder Madsen
